Joint forces destroy a complete RSF military convoy on the outskirts of Al-Geneina


The official spokesman for the Joint Forces of the Armed Struggle Movements, Major Ahmed Hussein Mustafa, revealed that the joint forces have waged a fierce battle near Jebel Aum in West Darfur with the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia, during which they were able to burn 17 combat vehicles and seize 12 others. He sent reassurance message that the entire country would soon be cleansed of the Janjaweed filth, saying, “You will soon see the biggest advance.”

Hussein said, in a press release received by (Sudanese Echoes), that the joint forces were able to kill a number of rebel commanders in the battle, most notably Lieutenant Colonel (Khala) Hamdan Daifallah Adam, and Major (Khala) Issa Al-Shababi.

The official spokesman for the joint forces underlined that the forces were able to cut off the road in front of the Janjaweed militias that were heading to the city of Kulbus.

Hussein revealed that the RSF militia leadership summoned the native administrations in Kulbus 3 days ago and threatened them and vowed to storm the city if the native administration did not expel the joint forces from the city. Hussein pointed out that the clash took place in Jebel Aum area with a Janjaweed convoy consisting of 70 combat vehicles and hundreds of motorcycles. He confirmed that the joint forces succeeded in killing a large number of militia members in the convoy, while a few of them managed to escape and were pursued to the outskirts of Al-Geneina and others to the Chadian border.

Meanwhile, the official spokesman for the joint forces unveiled that they fought the 139th battle in El-Fashir on Sunday when a group of 47 militia combat vehicles supported by about a battalion of infantry attempted to penetrate the city after an intense artillery barrage of 72 shells, indicating that the assault was on two axes (eastern and southern) and the forces were able to confront the attack and forced the militia to flee from the battlefield outside the city and they were pursued with long-range artillery and inflicted more losses on them.
