Jaafar Al-Mirghani to (Sudanese Echoes): If the army is lost, Sudan will collapse

The Deputy Head of the Democratic Unionist Party (Origin), Jaafar Al-Mirghani, announced that his party, led by Mawlana Mohamed Osman Al-Mirghani, stages behind the Sudanese Armed Forces. He warned against talking about reforming the army at this time, adding it is possible to talk about its development. He stressed the necessity to preserve the military institution so that Sudan does not collapse, and said: “If the army is lost, Sudan will be lost.”

Al-Mirghani said, exclusive statements to the (Sudanese Echoes) platform, that the party always supports the army, reminding with the party leader’s stand with the army during the Third Democracy when the forces of the People’s Army Liberation Movement (SPLA) occupied Al-Kurmuk and Gaisan, where Al-Mirghani supported the army by bringing in weapons to defeat the rebellion.

Meanwhile, Al-Mirghani revealed the details of his recent visit to Europe, referring to his meeting with the European Union representative and briefing him on the violations of the insurgent Rapid Support Forces militia (RSF) in Sudan against the citizens and its rebellion against the Sudanese State.

Furthermore, Al-Mirghani said that he met with the new British ambassador to Sudan in London and explained to him all the violations of the outlaw RSF militia in Sudan and informed him of the size of the great conspiracy and plan carried out by the militia and its supporters against Sudan.

Al-Mirghani called on the political forces to come out with an agreement for the building of Sudan, stressing the need for consensus among all political forces for the sake of Sudan
