Hundreds of RSF Wounded Evacuated by Truck from Kordofan to Nyala
Local and field sources told the Shahid Ayan (Eye Witness) Platform that the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) suffered heavy human and military losses in the Sodari area of Kordofan, prompting large-scale operations to evacuate their dead and wounded toward South Darfur.
The sources said that more than 300 RSF fighters killed in the fighting had been buried in and around Sodari following fierce clashes in the area.
At the same time, the sources reported that more than 200 severely wounded fighters were transported in two large trucks and urgently taken to hospitals in Nyala for treatment. The convoy was escorted by a heavily armed security and military force comprising five combat vehicles.
Meanwhile, the Sudanese Armed Forces’ air force expanded the scope of its military operations in the area, carrying out a series of focused sorties and precision strikes on RSF concentrations and positions.
Field sources said the airstrikes scored direct hits, destroying military vehicles and causing further heavy losses in personnel and equipment among the targeted RSF groups.
