Huge Army Reinforcements Arrive in Blue Nile

 

The Sudanese Army deployed huge military reinforcements, including elite forces, toward the Bakouri axis in Geissan locality, Blue Nile Region, on Saturday.

 

 

 

 

The Fourth Infantry Division of the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) in the Blue Nile Region said military reinforcements moved toward Bakouri on a combat mission to strengthen forces deployed in the area and enhance their operational capabilities.

 

 

 

 

In a statement, the division said the Elite Brigade had been deployed to support forces engaged in combat and as part of efforts to decisively resolve the battle.

 

 

 

 

Major General Ismail Al-Tayeb, Commander of the Fourth Infantry Division, stressed the importance of readiness, discipline and fighting spirit while seeing off the departing force. He also emphasized the need to carry out the mission with steadfastness and competence.

 

 

 

 

Meanwhile, Blue Nile Region Governor Ahmed Al-Omda Badi said in a statement on Saturday that the security situation in the region was under control.

 

 

 

 

He said the Sudanese Armed Forces and supporting forces remained firmly in control of the situation and were operating with vigilance and readiness to protect civilians and secure the region’s borders.

 

 

 

 

Badi stressed that the Armed Forces would not allow any threat to the region’s security and stability and urged citizens not to be influenced by rumors.

 

 

 

The spokesperson for the Blue Nile Regional Government also called on citizens to place their full trust in the Armed Forces and remain confident in their ability to protect the population and maintain security and stability across the region.
