Hemeidti’s Bodyguard assassinated in El-Geneina

Mohamed Ali Breima, a field commander in the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia, known by the nickname “Tor Jangei,” was killed in El-Geneina, West Darfur, in an incident described as an internal liquidation resulting from disputes among mercenary elements affiliated with the militia.

Local sources from within the city reported that Tor Jangei, who served as one of the bodyguards of Commander Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo (Hemeidti), fell victim to internal liquidations following escalating tensions and divisions within the militia’s ranks.

The sources confirmed that the deceased was a prominent security figure in the field, and his name had been linked to several field operations in recent months. They stated that his assassination occurred directly in a neighborhood of El-Geneina and coincided with suspicious security movements by a group of mercenaries believed to be involved in the operation.
