Hemedti in Critical Health Condition

Local sources in South Darfur State said urgent instructions had been issued to summon medical personnel working at a field hospital near Nyala Airport to examine Rapid Support Forces (RSF) commander Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo (Hemedti).

According to information cited by journalist Attaf Mohamed Mukhtar and Al-Onwan 24 channel, the medical team was urgently summoned to conduct detailed medical examinations after Hemedti suffered a sudden health emergency.

The sources described Hemedti’s current condition as “critical,” but provided no specific details about the nature of the illness or the medical emergency.

RSF leaders have imposed strict secrecy over the matter, and the causes of Hemedti’s sudden health deterioration and the details of his medical condition remain unclear.

The reports also said that a state of heightened alert and anticipation was observed at RSF military facilities around the airport amid the developments.
