Hell from the Sky: Sudanese Air Force Strikes RSF and Al-Hilu Forces
The Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) carried out airstrikes on positions held by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia and the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement-North (SPLM-N) led by Abdelaziz Al-Hilu in South Kordofan State, destroying a number of combat vehicles.
Military sources told Ultra Sudan that Sudanese military drones conducted air raids early Sunday on RSF positions and allied SPLM-N forces in South Kordofan.
The sources said the strikes destroyed combat vehicles belonging to a convoy that had been preparing to advance toward the city of Al-Dalang in South Kordofan.
They added that forces from the “Ta’asis Alliance,” composed of the RSF militia and the SPLM-N faction, had in recent days been mobilizing troops to attack Al-Dalang and cut the road linking the city with Kadugli. However, the Sudanese army’s drones continued targeting and dispersing these forces, preventing them from achieving their objectives.
