Heavy Clashes Erupt Between RSF Militia and Al-Hilu Forces

Heavy and fierce fighting broke out on Sunday between the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia and the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement–North (SPLM-N), led by Abdelaziz Al-Hilu, in the strategic area of Jakma in South Kordofan State.

Reliable field sources reported that the area witnessed intense exchanges of artillery fire and heavy weapons following a sudden direct confrontation between the two sides. The clashes triggered widespread fear and panic among residents of the area and surrounding communities due to the intensity of the explosions and the ferocity of the ongoing fighting.
