Government Evacuates Sudanese Stranded in Iran via Turkish Territory

A joint meeting between Sudan’s Ambassador to Turkey, Nadir Yousef, and Turkish Deputy Interior Minister Mohamed Sallam discussed the evacuation of Sudanese stranded in Iran and the conditions of Sudanese in Turkey.

The discussions touched on the follow-up to granting humanitarian residency to Sudanese stranded in Turkey and arrangements for evacuating Sudanese from Iran to Sudan via Turkish Territory.

The Turkish Deputy Interior Minister pledged to attach utmost importance to both issues and to do everything possible to facilitate the process.
