Foreign Minister: A ready plan to evacuate Sudanese from Syria

Foreign Minister Ali Youssef has announced that they have developed a comprehensive and ready plan to evacuate the Sudanese community from Syria if events in Syria develop for the worse.

The Sudanese community in Syria is estimated at (1400) individuals, according to the Sudanese News Agency (SUNA).

The minister said, according to (Al-Muhaqqiq), that the Ministry headquarters is in direct and continuous contact with the Sudanese diplomatic mission in Damascus, which is currently headed by a chargé d’affaires.

The minister explained that the chargé d’affaires is in continuous contact with all members of the community throughout Syria.

The minister stated that the situation is reassuring and there is no danger to the community, denying that any member of the community has been harmed.
