Foreign mercenaries, including a well-known Libyan commander, killed in an airstrike in El-Fashir

Airstrikes launched by the Air Force on the positions of the rebel Al-Dagalo militia in northeastern El-Fashir resulted in the destruction of 7 combat vehicles carrying 30 elements, including foreign mercenaries led by the Libyan commander Fakhreddine Al-Jekheisi.
The war correspondent of the Sixth Infantry Division, Sergeant First Class Asia Al-Khalifa Gibla, said, on the division’s Facebook page, that the division’s armed forces, the joint forces, and the (Ert Ert) forces destroyed a tractor carrying a number of militia mobilized recruits coming from southeast El-Fashir, noting that the operation resulted in the killing and wounding of dozens of that force.
Asia added that a number of militia elements fled from the vicinity of El-Fashir to Nyala on board 12 combat vehicles led by Lt. Col. Bashir Om Sayala due to the continuous advance of the division’s forces, the scarcity of food and logistical supplies, and the non-payment of dues.
