Finance Minister: War Will Continue Until the Rebellion Is Defeated

Minister of Finance and Chairman of the Justice and Equality Movement Gebreil Ibrahim said the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and supporting forces remain committed to defeating the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia and ending the rebellion, stressing that the war will continue until every part of the country is liberated.

During a visit with the Wali of Khartoum State to families displaced from Sodri, Al-Jamama, Abu Hadid, Umm Sarra, and other villages in North Kordofan now residing west of Omdurman, Ibrahim said:
“We will not take off our military uniforms until every part of Sudan has been cleansed of the rebellion.”

He stressed that efforts to restore security and stability would continue until their objectives are fully achieved and state authority is restored throughout the country.
