Family of Former Deputy Police Chief: General Nasr-Eddin Was Not Assassinated — Dagalo’s Claims Are False

 

The family of former Deputy Director-General of Police Forces, Lieutenant General Nasr-Eddin Mohamed Abdel-Rahim, has denied the allegations made by the commander of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia, Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo “Hemeidti”, who claimed that the Sudanese Armed Forces had assassinated the general.

 

In a post on the X platform, his son stated that his father died of a heart attack while in hospital, where he was serving as Acting Director-General of Police, stressing that Dagalo’s statements were “false and fabricated, bearing no relation to the truth.”

 

Lieutenant General Nasr-Eddin passed away in the early days of the war, leaving a sense of deep sorrow within the security community.

He was widely respected for his professionalism and his commitment to preserving the unity of the police institution.
