Details of RSF militia’s destruction of the largest water station in Khartoum

(Sudanese Echoes) obtained important information documented with photos published for the first time, revealing the extent of the destruction, devastation and looting by the rebel Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia that affected the high-pressure water station in Bahri, which is the largest water station of its kind in Khartoum State.

 

The former director of the Khartoum State Water Authority, Anwar Al-Sadat, explained to (Sudanese Echoes) that the high-pressure water station in Khartoum Bahri was completely destroyed and looted of most of its vital equipment, as the militia destroyed 7 horizontal water pumps, 7 electric motors, an overhead crane, and all high-pressure cables, in addition to all internal copper connection pipes, indicating that the station, in order to resume operating again, needs an amount of 60 million dollars, equivalent to about 160 million Sudanese pounds.
