Destruction of Advanced Missile Air Defense System Belonging to Rapid Support Forces

 

Abu Zabad — Sudanese Echoes

Military sources said unmanned aerial units of the Sudanese Armed Forces conducted air sorties on Sunday morning targeting positions of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia in the town of Abu Zabad, West Kordofan State.

 

According to multiple corroborating field reports, the strikes resulted in the destruction of a modern electronic jamming and missile air defense system, along with 10 fully equipped combat vehicles. A number of militia fighters were reported killed and wounded.

 

The sources affirmed that aerial bombardment operations are continuing with the aim of dispersing militia formations and neutralizing their commanders, in preparation for an advance toward West Kordofan and the restoration of control over the state.
