China Calls on Militias to Stop Attacks on Facilities and Civilians in Sudan

The Chinese Foreign Ministry condemned the attacks carried out by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia targeting civil facilities and civilians in Sudan.
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said, on Monday, that Beijing hopes for an early ceasefire in Sudan.
Drones belonging to the RSF militia recently targeted strategic sites in Port Sudan.
During a press conference, Mao called for ensuring the safety of civil facilities and civilians. She added, “China has always taken an objective and neutral position on the Sudan issue. We hope that a ceasefire agreement will be reached in Sudan as soon as possible, the humanitarian situation will be alleviated, the political process will advance, and peace, stability, and development will be restored to the country as soon as possible.”
