Blue Nile Governor: Army Holds the Initiative, and We Will Soon Be in “Geissan” and “Al-Kormuk”

Blue Nile Region Governor Ahmed Al-Omda Badi affirmed that the security and military situation in the region is fully under control, stressing that the Armed Forces, regular forces and Popular Resistance Forces remain fully vigilant and highly prepared to deal with all threats.

 

 

 

 

Speaking to reporters following an expanded meeting with the regional security committee and Popular Resistance leaders to review the operational situation and secure the border strip, Al-Omda said the army would take the necessary measures in the coming days in response to recent movements.

 

 

He pledged imminent advances on the ground, saying: “Soon, we will be in Geissan or Al-Kormuk.”

 

 

 

 

 

The Governor called on citizens to remain reassured and disregard misleading media campaigns and rumors aimed at undermining stability. He affirmed that the government would not allow any threat to jeopardize the security and safety of the region’s residents.
