Army Sends Military Reinforcements into Dilling Following Battles with RSF and SPLM-N
A military source said the Sudanese Armed Forces on Monday succeeded in deploying military reinforcements and equipment into the city of Dilling in South Kordofan State following fierce battles with the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia and the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement-North (SPLM-N).
The source told Ultra Sudan that the mobile force reached the city through the eastern axis passing via Habila and Al-Tamka, noting that clashes around Al-Tamka inflicted losses in personnel and equipment on the RSF militia.
Habila, Al-Tamka, and Dilling have remained active combat zones for months, as the Sudanese army seeks to reopen ground supply routes to the partially besieged city of Dilling, while RSF forces and SPLM-N fighters attempt to prevent efforts to reopen the road to the city.
Dilling is the second-largest city in South Kordofan State and holds strategic importance as a major administrative center in the state.
