Army drones destroy Jebel Awliya Dam Bridge, isolate militia forces

The drones of Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) carried out a precise strike on the Jebel Awliya Dam Bridge “Scaffolding” and entirely demolished it. At the same time the militia forces present west of the Nile and Omdurman were isolated from its eastern in Khartoum, Al-Gezira and Bahri – a large number of Rapid Support Forces (RSF) vehicles were destroyed in Jebel Awliya Dam, including tankers and trucks loaded with fuel and equipment that were coming from Darfur.

Official sources reported to (Sudanese Echoes) that three SAF drones carried out the strike on Monday night and neutralized Jebel Awliya Bridge. The sources confirmed that any attempt to maintain the bridge would be met with air strikes.

Eyewitnesses underscored that a number of militia members were killed by drowning in the White Nile, while the rest of the militia’s combat vehicles retreated and concentrated east of Jebel Awliya, before the aircraft bombed them later and ruined them.

The sources stressed that the drones destroyed the vehicle that was lifting the scaffolding and the driver of the vehicle burned inside it.
