Army Destroys Militia Military Convoy Coming from Libya

Sudanese warplanes carried out airstrikes on a convoy of combat vehicles in Mellit locality in North Darfur State, western Sudan.

Military sources told Ultra Sudan that army drones targeted an entire military convoy in Wadi Tirishiqi in Mellit locality, which was coming from Libya.

The sources explained that the strike followed precise intelligence surveillance of the convoy, which they said the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia had intended to move into the city of El-Fashir in preparation for anticipated military operations along the desert frontlines.

The sources further indicated that the RSF militia had intensified during recent days the mobilization of its forces along the desert axes and in North Kordofan, following the defection of influential commanders in that region.
