Armed Group Executes 7 Children South of Nyala Over “Trivial” Dispute

Seven teenagers under the age of 18 were killed in a brutal incident in the Teblidiat area, about 20 kilometres south of Nyala city in South Darfur State.

According to local reports, the incident occurred after members of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia, riding motorcycles, intercepted a tuk-tuk carrying the boys during a social visit and demanded that they hand over fuel from their vehicle.

A dispute broke out after the youths apologised and explained that they could not provide fuel due to its scarcity.
The armed group then opened fire on them without warning. Five of the boys were killed instantly, while the remaining two died later while being transported to hospital.

Community leaders said local volunteers pursued the attackers but were unable to arrest any of them. Burial procedures were completed on Saturday, according to eyewitness accounts.
