(Ardol) Conditions Participation of (RSF Alliance) in Sudanese Dialogue on Removal of (Hemedti)
Assistant Head of the Democratic Bloc, Mubarak Ardol, has conditioned the participation of the (Tasis) alliance, dominated by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia, in the Sudanese–Sudanese dialogue on three requirements, including the removal of RSF leader Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo “Hemedti” from the leadership of the alliance and the abandonment of projects aimed at dividing Sudan through the establishment of parallel governments.
Speaking at an online symposium on (X), hosted by Sudanese journalist Wasel Ali, Ardol said that “the Democratic Bloc has set three conditions for the participation of the Tasis alliance in the Sudanese–Sudanese dialogue: the first is for the alliance to separate itself from the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia and abandon the parallel government project and any steps aimed at dividing Sudan, in addition to clarifying its position on the violations committed using the weapons of the Tasis alliance.”
Ardol affirmed that Hemedti is a military figure with a military trajectory linked to the Jeddah negotiations as well as the Quad Mechanism, and that he cannot simultaneously lead a military track as the RSF and a political track representing the “Tasis” alliance. He called on him to abandon the military role if he seeks participation in any political arrangements.
