America: We will never allow Sudan to become a haven for terrorism

The US representative to the Security Council said that Sudan cannot be allowed to become a haven for terrorism again, noting that the ongoing war there is “catastrophic,” warning that the ongoing escalation threatens security in the region. During a Security Council session on Sudan, (Wednesday), the US representative expressed his country’s concern about the ongoing attacks launched by the “Rapid Support Forces” on the Zamzam camp for displaced persons in North Darfur State, which is the only area controlled by the Sudanese army in the troubled Darfur region in the west of the country.
