Al-Gezira State deports about 3,000 South Sudanese refugees to “Joda” border crossing

 

Al-Gezira State’s Government has begun deporting southern refugees from the state to the northern Joda crossing.

 

 

The Director General and Minister in Charge of the Ministry of Social Welfare and Development in Al-Gezira State, Fath Al-Rahman Mohamed Ahmed, announced to (SUNA) the regularity of the deportation of southern Sudanese refugees, as three trips have been completed with about 3,000 southern Sudanese refugees, including women, children, youth and the elderly, stressing the state government’s commitment to deporting all illegal refugees from the state during the coming period.
