Al-Burhan’s deputy vows to continue fighting until Sudan is “cleansed” of “Rapid Support Forces”

Member of the “Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC)” and the Deputy Commander -in-Chief of the Sudanese army, General Shams-El-Din Kabashi, vowed to continue combat operations until “every inch of the homeland is cleansed of the filth of the terrorist (Rapid Support Forces-RSF) and a great victory is achieved,” that is one day after the army reclaimed an area in the center of the country.

Kabashi said in a mobilization speech to soldiers in “Jebel Moya”, which he arrived at on Monday, that “the army has achieved great victories, and we are happy (joyful), and the people are happy,” adding: “The victory that has been achieved will bring stability to the citizens in the states of White Nile, Blue Nile and Sennar.”

The army was able to get back the strategic “Jebel Moya” area, after fierce battles with the “Rapid Support Forces” that took control of the area that connects 3 states on June 25.

Media reports stated that Kabashi supervised the military operation from within the White Nile Military Zone, and forces coming from Sennar State and others coming from White Nile State participated in the battle.
