Al-Burhan to Sudanese: Victory is coming, and soon you will no longer hear about drones

Given the gains made by the armed forces over the past months against the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), Sudanese Army Commander Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan affirmed that victory is near.
In a speech delivered on Saturday at the launch of the “Afiya Watan”, Homeland Recovery, Initiative to support those affected by the war, he said, “We will avenge our martyrs, and the militias will pay a heavy price for killing Sudanese… and soon you will no longer hear about drones.”
He emphasized the army’s determination to “uproot the Rapid Support Forces,” adding that it has shifted from defense to offense.
Al-Burhan said that “fighters everywhere are lining up to liberate the country inch by inch,” as he put it.
He also clarified that things are proceeding as planned, urging the Sudanese to be patient. He added, “Soon you will no longer hear about drones striking service and civil facilities.”
