Al-Burhan says no negotiations with Al-Dagalo family

 

President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, praised members of the armed forces, other regular and supporting forces, and all fighters in the “Battle of Dignity,” affirming that efforts to eliminate the “rebel militia” will continue until full clearance of the country is achieved.

 

 

His remarks came during an address at a ceremony honouring former Chiefs of Staff and senior officers, where he commended the outgoing leaders, praising their contributions and describing their role in the Sudan’s difficult wartime conditions under siege and shelling. He said they set strong examples of patience and resilience and rose to the level of responsibility and challenges.

 

 

Al-Burhan said the armed forces’ path of service will continue, backed by the sacrifices of the Sudanese people, and stressed that there will be no negotiations with the rebels or those who support them. He said the military would continue its efforts to end what he called the “nightmare” facing the Sudanese people.

 

 

TSC Member and Chief of Staff, General Yassir Abdelrahman Al-Atta, said those honoured represented symbols of courage, steadfastness, and bravery, noting that they remained united in the most difficult circumstances and served as a defensive shield for the country, contributing to the army’s victories across all regions.

 

 

He pledged to continue the path toward what the final victory, including reaching “Om Dafoug and the Blue Nile,” while paying tribute to fighters across all fronts.
