Al-Burhan: SAF Was the First to Implement the Decision to Evacuate the Capital of Military Formations
President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, has affirmed that the Armed Forces (SAF) were the first to implement the decision to evacuate the capital, Khartoum, of all military formations.
During his address to the meeting of the Supreme Committee for Emergency and Crisis Management in Khartoum State, Al-Burhan underscored the importance of maintaining security and moving forward with the implementation of the decisions issued to evacuate the capital of weapons and armed presence.
Al-Burhan directed the Khartoum State Security Committee to take the necessary decisive legal decisions and measures to prevent the carrying of weapons outside the regular framework and to confine them within regular military units, ensuring the control of the security chaos and preventing those who threaten the security of the nation and its citizens.
Al-Burhan highlighted the importance of Khartoum, the national capital, with its rich history, and the efforts made to liberate it according to a well-thought-out strategic plan by the Armed Forces and the forces participating in the Battle of Dignity.
During the meeting, Al-Burhan emphasized the importance of the Sudanese people’s sacrifices until the rebellion was defeated in the state.
Al-Burhan declared that the Battle of Dignity would not cease until the rebellion is completely defeated, affirming that the army will continue to fulfill its national duty to protect the country and preserve its unity and the territorial integrity of Sudan without any compromise.
