Al-Burhan, Hilal Map Out Confrontation After Musteriha Trage
President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces, Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, met on Sunday with Chairman of the Revolutionary Awakening Council, Sheikh Musa Hilal, in the presence of Governor of the Darfur Region, Commander Minni Arko Minnawi.
At the outset of the meeting, the TSC President paid tribute to the martyrs of the Musteriha area who lost their lives defending land and honor in the face of attacks by the rebel Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia, praising their sacrifices which, he said, embodied the values of dignity and national pride.
The meeting reviewed the latest field and humanitarian developments in North Darfur State and shed light on the grave violations committed by the terrorist Al-Dagalo militia against unarmed civilians in the Musteriha area and neighboring villages.
General Al-Burhan reiterated the Armed Forces’ determination to press ahead with military operations until the rebellion is defeated and all parts of the country are secured, paving the way for the restoration of comprehensive security and stability.
The TSC President also commended the broad popular solidarity and the alignment of social components behind the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF), affirming that the military remains the protective shield and safety valve of the Sudanese state in confronting schemes aimed at undermining its unity and sovereignty.
