After His Release, Commander of Al-Baraa bin Malik Corps Explains His Arrest Circumstances in Egypt, Thanks Al-Burhan
The Commander of Al-Baraa bin Malik Corps, Al-Misbah Abu Zaid Talha, has disclosed the circumstances of his arrest by the Egyptian authorities.
In a post on his Facebook page, Al-Misbah said that the Egyptian authorities detained him briefly, as a normal procedure for any country to uncover the facts.
Al-Misbah explained that the reason for his arrest was false reports concocted by Sudan’s enemies, who dream of breaking his will, pointing out that their goal is to defame him personally, tarnish the image of the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the support forces, mainly Al-Baraa bin Malik Corps.
Al-Misbah confirmed that he was released, thanks to Allah Almighty, honored and respected, absolved of all charges and slander, so that our flag remains pure and our reputation immaculate. He continued, “The truth prevails and nothing is above it.”
He asserted that the investigations proved his complete innocence, noting that the Egyptian authorities allowed him to lead a normal life in Egypt.
Al-Misbah said he is currently receiving treatment in the hospital, reassuring everyone that he is in good health and receiving high-level care.
Al-Misbah noted that what he experienced was not the first time he emerged victorious in the Battle field of truth.
He said this was preceded by a certificate of innocence from our brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia more than a year ago.
He added, “And here is our sister Egypt today, reaffirming that Al-Baraa bin Malik Corps is the support of our valiant Sudanese Armed Forces, a disciplined, patriotic force that does not embrace extremism, does not engage in anything that harms our just cause, and stands only for the interest of the homeland without interfering in the affairs of others.”
Al-Misbah explained that their enemies sought to isolate them, but they will reach every platform, confront them in dialogue arenas as they confront them on the battlefield, and open all doors, not accepting any restrictions “woven by that spider.”
Al-Misbah thanked President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, for his position, personal follow-up of the matter, and repeated calls to follow up on it.
Al-Misbah also thanked TSC Member General Yassir Al-Atta, anf General Mirghani Idris, who paid great attention to the matter and personally followed up on it, even at the family level, during his absence.
He also thanked Lt. Gen. Subair, Director of the Military Intelligence Service, as well as the Sudanese General Intelligence Service.
Al-Misbah continued: “I thank Egypt, both its government and people, who embraced my family for two years in peace and security, and today provide me with comprehensive, distinguished medical care in its best hospitals.”
Al-Misbah affirmed their commitment to maintaining the fraternal and strategic relationship between the peoples of the Nile Valley, so that together we may achieve greater cooperation and shared victory.”
He said, “Let our enemies know that our ranks are united, the field is ours, and victory is an irrevocable covenant. The enemy of Egypt is our enemy, and we will defend it as we defend our territories. Whoever thought that Al-Misbah’s absence would evacuate the firing positions was mistaken. The battle will continue until the terrorist Dagalo militia is defeated and the flag of Sudan is raised high and fluttering.”
