“A Plot to Divide Sudan”… Mustafa Bakri Reveals Plan for a “Separatist Government” Led by Hemedti

Egyptian journalist and member of the House of Representatives, Mustafa Bakri, has asserted that what he called the “separatist government” in Sudan, led by Hemeidti, represents a new conspiracy aimed at tearing the country apart and dividing it, considering it a threat to the unity of Sudanese territory.

In a tweet on the “X” platform, Mustafa Bakri explained that there had been prior warnings from international and regional parties regarding the seriousness of this step. He said that Egypt had warned against the consequences of deepening division and disrupting comprehensive peace processes. Saudi Arabia and the United Nations had also issued similar warnings, and even the United States had expressed its objection to these developments.

Bakri underlined his conviction that the Sudanese people would not succumb to this “fake entity” and would not allow the unity of Sudan, both its territories and people, to be compromised, stressing his commitment to a unified national identity.

Mustafa Bakri suggested that the Arab League be called to convene an urgent meeting, not only to issue statements of condemnation and rejection, but also to take concrete action, in coordination with African countries, to put an end to this conspiracy, which poses a threat to the entire region.
