A former Sudanese military commander unveils new information about the killing of (Hemedti)

The former member of the military council and the commander of the air force during the era of President Al-Bashir, General Pilot Salah Abdel-Khalig, uncovered new information about the injury of the commander of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) Militia, Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo (Hemedti).
Abdel-Khalig said that the warplanes bombed Hemedti’s vehicle while he was inside it, expecting that he was killed during the raid, repeating: (I don’t think anyone who was hit by a plane will get up).
President Al-Bashir’s Stepdown
The military commander narrated, in an interview with (Sudanese Echoes), the details of the security committee taking overpower during Al-Bashir’s era, revealing that they were informed of President Al-Bashir’s step down during a meeting on April 10, 2019 in the office of the then Chief of Staff, General Kamal Abdel-Marouf, in the presence of Minister of Defense, General Awad Ibin Auf. Abdel-Khalig explained that all military units and divisions were informed of this decision.
Hemedti’s Death
Regarding his talk about Hemedti’s death, the former military commander confirmed that Hemedti’s vehicle was hit by warplanes in an area east of Khartoum between Airport Street and the Criminal Evidence Directorate. He said that he was not sure of Hemedti’s death, but he averred that he was injured during the strike and was transferred to the East Nile Hospital. He expounded that one of the nurses at the hospital asserted that Hemedti’s right leg had been amputated, and that he was injured in his eye and spinal cord. Abdel-Khalig explained that Hemedti arrived at the hospital in a state of quadriplegia, stating that the famous doctor in Khartoum, Suleiman Salih Fedail, who is related to Hemedti, confirmed Hemetii’s death.
The former military commander came out with that Hemedti appearance in a number of African countries was through video clips using artificial intelligence.
With respect the decision of the Military Council on the status of former President Omar al-Bashir, he said that the committee decided to keep the ex-president under house arrest inside the General Command and at his home.
Salah Gosh’s Debarment
The Former Aircraft Commander pointed out that the then Minister of Defense and Commander of the Military Council, Awad Ibin Auf, resigned of the leadership of the council because of the street’s rejection of him, hinting that the step down of the Chief of Staff, General Kamal Abdel-Maarouf, was based on the same scenario after the Security and Intelligence Service hinted to him that the street did not want him either.
Regarding the decision of excluding the Director of the Security and Intelligence Service at the time, General Salah Abdullah (Gosh), from the Military Council and replace him with his deputy, Jalal al-Sheikh, the decision was attributed to Awad Ibin Auf at the time due to his fear of the “chaos” of the demonstrators.
