Technical Fault Grounds Aircraft, Sudan Airways Cancels All ‎Scheduled Flights

Sudan Airways (Sudanair), the national carrier, has announced the ‎cancellation of all its scheduled flights to various destinations on ‎Sunday, 1 November 2026, following a sudden technical fault affecting ‎one of its aircraft.‎

In an official notice addressed to passengers, the company explained ‎that the cancellation applies to all flights scheduled throughout the ‎day. It urged affected passengers to contact its booking offices and ‎authorised agents immediately to follow up on arrangements for ‎rescheduling their flights or obtaining refunds.‎

Meanwhile, informed sources reported that a Sudan Airways aircraft ‎had been temporarily taken out of service due to the fault, which they ‎described as “limited”. The sources expected engineering teams to ‎resolve the technical problem successfully and the national carrier’s ‎flights to gradually return to normal during the current week.‎
