Khartoum Warns Addis Ababa, Reserves Right to Respond
Sudan’s Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Sudan fully reserves its right to respond to Ethiopia in accordance with international conventions and treaties, calling on the international community to take decisive steps and measures in response to Ethiopian violations.
During a press briefing, the Undersecretary said Ethiopia had become directly involved in providing military support to the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia. He noted that this support included weapons supplies, facilitating the recruitment of mercenaries to fight in Sudan, and providing platforms for operating drones on behalf of the rebel militia.
The Foreign Ministry Undersecretary reassured domestic and international public opinion regarding the security situation, affirming that Sudanese military and security agencies were fully prepared and capable of protecting the country, safeguarding its sovereignty, and deterring any threats to national security.
