Nyala, (Sudanese Echoes) – The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia has ‎enlisted an Israeli expert to provide engineering and technical ‎supervision for the operation of its air defense and drone systems, as ‎well as its communications equipment.‎

Sources revealed that the expert, Meir Cohen, arrived in Nyala from ‎Ethiopia four months ago.‎

Eyewitnesses confirmed that his visit focused directly on engineering ‎and technical supervision of the operation of sophisticated air defense ‎systems and modern communications equipment, amid heightened ‎attention to the movements of foreign personnel in the region.‎

Reports from informed sources revealed that shortly after his arrival, ‎the expert held closed coordination meetings with field commander ‎Ahmed Hamdan Al-Semaih. Discussions between the two focused on ‎urgent plans to prepare six fortified underground shelters designated ‎for strategic drones at Kashlangu Camp, east of Nyala Airport.‎

Field sources added that the forces controlling the site sought ‎additional urgent support. These efforts included requests for ‎assistance in obtaining advanced drones and sophisticated anti-aircraft ‎systems, as well as modern jamming equipment to enable them to ‎carry out precision attacks against Sudanese Army positions.‎

Meanwhile, local sources reported the presence of an individual ‎identified as General Boloj in Nyala for the past four months. He has ‎been working as a drone trainer at Mooseih Camp and residing in the ‎Airport neighborhood.
