Al-Burhan Sends Strong Message to Sanctions Supporters Abroad: You Will Not Rule Sudan Again

President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, praised the officers, non-commissioned officers, and personnel of the Sudanese Police Forces, highlighting their longstanding traditions and disciplined institutions in carrying out their mission of serving society.

Addressing the graduation ceremony of the 22nd batch of officer trainees at the College of Police Sciences and Law, Al-Burhan said the police had always enjoyed the trust of the Sudanese people and served as a vigilant guardian of their security and stability, safeguarding their rights and protecting them.

He praised the pioneering generation of police leaders who helped establish these values and highlighted the Police Forces’ contributions to supporting the “Battle of Dignity.” He noted that the Police Forces had fought alongside the Armed Forces in the battle, stressing that the police are entrusted with safeguarding all citizens’ rights and emphasizing the longstanding heritage and traditions of the Police Forces in serving the people.

Al-Burhan reassured the Sudanese people that the Armed Forces, supported by the other regular forces, are moving forward to restore security and stability throughout the country. He affirmed that the enemy would be defeated and that citizens would return to their towns and villages to resume their normal lives.

Al-Burhan said that the ongoing talk about the possibility of imposing sanctions on Sudan would neither affect the country nor weaken its resolve, declaring, “Our lives and destiny are in Allah’s hands.” He urged the Sudanese people not to pay attention to what enemies and malicious actors are promoting about imposing a no-fly zone over the country, reaffirming the determination to continue the “Battle of Dignity” until every inch of Sudanese territory defiled by the rebellion is liberated.
He added: “Our message to those staying in hotels abroad and applauding sanctions in an attempt to subjugate the Sudanese people is that the people will not be broken, and failure and disappointment will befall you.” He stressed that those individuals would not be able to rule the Sudanese people again.

General Al-Burhan praised the enormous sacrifices made by the Sudanese people in what he described as a national battle, noting that the Sudanese people do not want to see the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia and the Forces of Freedom and Change (FFC) return to the political scene.

Regarding the implementation of the Juba Peace Agreement, General Al-Burhan said that the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement-North, led by TSC President Malik Agar, had joined the Armed Forces with all its forces, calling on other armed movements to follow this example.
