Inflicting Heavy Losses on RSF Militia in Geissan; Blue Nile Denies Destruction of Tamta Bridge

The media platform of Geissan locality in Sudan’s Blue Nile Region announced that the Sudanese Armed Forces’ 13th Brigade, along with allied forces, had inflicted heavy losses on the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia and the allied Joseph Kuny Movement on the outskirts of the town, confirming that the “militia” had retreated under the impact of military strikes.

The locality officially denied circulating reports that Tamta Bridge had been destroyed, describing them as baseless rumors and confirming that the bridge remains intact and fully operational.

The platform explained that the other side’s desire to conceal its battlefield defeats and spread fear in order to prevent displaced people from returning was behind the circulation of these allegations. It pointed to the 13th Brigade commander’s movement through the town’s markets as evidence of the stability of the security situation and the safety of the infrastructure.
