Mass Graves Found in Al-Kormuk Containing Civilians Executed by the Rapid Support Forces

The head of the local government in Al-Kormuk, in Sudan’s Blue Nile Region, has revealed the discovery of mass graves containing civilians, including children and women, who were executed by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia.

Al-Kormuk Commissioner Abdel Ati Mohamed Al-Faki said in a press statement that “mass graves containing 25 civilians, including women, children, elderly people and staff members of Al-Kormuk Hospital, who were executed by the RSF militia, were discovered.”

He explained that the mass graves were found during army search operations in the northeastern direction of Al-Kormuk, more than a month after the city was recaptured.

Al-Faki said the incident took place at Jabal Fankat, which the RSF militia used as a launch platform for suicide drones during the attack on Al-Kormuk.
