African Union Commission Chair Plans Visit to Khartoum

Chair of African Union (AU) Commission Mahmoud Ali Youssouf on Tuesday received Sudan’s Permanent Representative to the African Union, Ambassador Al-Zain Ibrahim Hussein.

The meeting reviewed the latest political and security developments in Sudan and ongoing efforts to restore stability.
The AU Commission Chair affirmed his intention to visit Khartoum at the earliest opportunity, reiterating the African Union’s steadfast support for the Sudanese people and its commitment to promoting peace and stability while safeguarding Sudan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
