Militia Deploys Dummy Land Cruisers to Mislead Army Drones
Reliable field sources said that Sudan’s Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia has resorted to a new tactic by deploying plastic decoys resembling Toyota Land Cruiser combat vehicles in some of its deployment areas in an attempt to evade precision strikes by Sudanese Army drones.
The sources said the militia has been placing the fake vehicle models at selected locations to mislead aerial reconnaissance and divert drone strikes away from its actual military vehicles, following mounting losses from drone attacks targeting its troop concentrations.
The same field sources added that the camouflage tactic failed to deceive the Sudanese Armed Forces’ intelligence, particularly on the Kordofan front, where the decoy operation was detected and the militia’s actual concentrations and movements were identified and engaged with a high degree of professionalism, resulting in their neutralization and destruction.
