Sudanese Army Destroys Drone Launch Platform in Jabal Al-Faragil and Eliminates Foreign Operating Crew

The Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) carried out a successful military operation in the Al-Dalang axis, destroying a drone launch platform belonging to the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia in the Jabal Al-Faragil area of South Kordofan State and eliminating its foreign operating crew.

Military sources said the army units accurately targeted and destroyed the platform on Sunday morning. The system had been used by the militia to launch aerial attacks and strike military and civilian positions in North and South Kordofan states.

The sources explained that the militia had relied heavily on the platform to hinder the advance of SAF ground forces in the area, using the rugged terrain along the Jabal Al-Faragil route to conceal the drone base and the team of foreign experts operating it, who were completely neutralized during the strike.

The operation comes as part of a series of well-coordinated pre-emptive strikes carried out by the Sudanese Armed Forces to disable the technical capabilities of the rebel militia and cut off its aerial supply and support lines across the Kordofan fronts.
