Abdel Rahim Dagalo Fails to Prepare New Force for Renewed Attack on Bara Front

The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia has failed to regroup its forces or prepare a new military column aimed at resuming offensive operations and returning to the strategic Bara front in the Kordofan region.

A source denied to Shahed Ayan news platform on Saturday reports circulating about a large-scale military buildup by the militia in the city of Al-Nohod in West Kordofan State, describing the reports as “false and misleading media” used by the militia leadership in a desperate attempt to boost the morale of its demoralized fighters, whose ranks have been scattered across the valleys of Kordofan between those killed, wounded, and fleeing.

In a related development, the field source expected RSF leader Abdel Rahim Dagalo to appear in one of the villages surrounding Al-Nohod in the coming hours in an attempt to rally his forces. However, the source ruled out his ability to mobilize any military force toward the Bara front again.

The source explained that the militia’s current presence in Al-Nohod is limited mainly to large numbers of wounded personnel, in addition to fuel trading networks and groups involved in looting and theft.
