Valuable Catch in West Darfur: Army Inflicts Heavy Losses on RSF Militia, Captures Foreign Mercenaries

The Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF), backed by the Joint Forces and field support from the Popular Resistance, are conducting large-scale military operations targeting strategic strongholds and positions of the militia in West Darfur State.

Field sources told Shahed Ayan platform that the fierce clashes resulted in the deaths of dozens of militia fighters and inflicted heavy losses on the attacking forces. They added that the army and the Joint Forces successfully seized military vehicles and advanced equipment, while capturing a number of foreign mercenaries involved in the fighting.

The sources confirmed that military reinforcements and field pressure on RSF positions continue across various fronts in the state, noting that offensive operations remain ongoing as of the time of reporting, amid a clear decline in the capabilities of the targeted force.
