Medical Source: 36 Civilians Killed or Wounded in RSF Drone Attack

Dozens of civilians were killed or injured on Monday in a Rapid Support Forces (RSF) drone attack on Al-Rahad in North Kordofan State.

According to field and medical sources, the initial toll stands at six civilians killed and around 30 others wounded. The injured were taken to the town’s hospital for treatment as medical teams were placed on high alert.

The sources said RSF drones fired several missiles directly at residential neighborhoods and densely populated civilian facilities, causing widespread panic and extensive damage to homes and private property.

The attack marked the second consecutive day of RSF strikes on North Kordofan State amid an intensified military campaign that, according to the sources, aims to sever strategic transport routes and isolate El-Obeid, the state capital. The attack has drawn widespread public condemnation over the continued targeting of civilians.
