Al-Hilu Orders Looting of Blue Nile Villages Following the Fall of Al-Kormuk

Press reports, citing informed sources, said Abdulaziz Al-Hilu, leader of the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement–North (SPLM-N), had issued orders for the immediate looting of property in villages surrounding the Eastern Mountains area of the Blue Nile Region.

According to the reports, the directives were conveyed to the movement’s field commanders in the area as a direct response and retaliatory measure following the Sudanese Armed Forces’ capture of the strategic town of Al-Kormuk.
