Yasser Al-Atta: We Will Soon Shift the Battle from Kordofan to the Heart of Darfur

Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Chief of Staff, General Yasser Abdulrahman Al-Atta, said that the Sudanese Armed Forces are advancing toward what he described as a complete victory across all parts of Sudan.

He stated: “We have plans and preparations that ensure our victory, and with deep faith we are certain that we will prevail, Allah willing.” He added, swearing that “soon the war will move from Kordofan into the depths of Darfur.”

Al-Atta made the remarks while inspecting the Armored Corps, where he addressed officers, non-commissioned officers, and soldiers. He praised the significant roles played by the corps during the “Battle of Dignity,” saying those efforts would remain a symbol of honor, pride, and dignity for the nation. He also paid tribute to the martyrs, whose souls, he said, “ascended to the highest heavens.”

He further stated that what the country is facing is a conspiracy orchestrated by the global Zionist forces, managed through hidden actors behind the scenes to destabilize Sudan’s security and stability, adding: “We are fighting the spearhead of evil and its mini-state.”

He stressed that the Sudanese Armed Forces stand firmly against this conspiracy, supported by the Sudanese people, and that victory will be achieved, saying: “We know our enemy, and we will not fail our people.”
