Dagalo Expels ‘Sorcerers’ After Failure to Stop Airstrikes on Nyala

A source told the Shahed Ayan (Eye Witness) platform that the Dagalo militia recently enlisted a group of sorcerers and fortune-tellers brought from several African countries under what was described as a “specialized unit,” allegedly tasked with securing victories, protecting militia leaders, and shielding Nyala from airstrikes.

According to the source, members of the group received large sums of money in exchange for promises to protect the city through amulets and various rituals. However, the field results contradicted those claims.

The source added that Abdul Rahim Dagalo later ordered the expulsion of the group and the confiscation of funds in their possession after they failed to achieve the objectives for which they had been recruited, in what was described as a reflection of growing frustration within the militia ranks amid declining capacity to confront military strikes.
