RSF Commander “Al-Zeer Salim” Injured in Blue Nile Battles
A field commander of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia, Al-Tijani Ibrahim Musa, known as “Al-Zeer Salim,” was injured during ongoing clashes in Al-Baraka area on the Blue Nile axis on Thursday morning, according to two military sources speaking to Darfur24.
The sources said the injury occurred during combat, without providing details on its nature, his current health condition, or where he was transferred for treatment. Social media users circulated images showing Al-Zeer Salim wounded and lying on the ground.
The reports came one day after he appeared in a widely shared video driving a combat vehicle amid fighting in Al-Baraka area of Al-Kormuk locality in Blue Nile State.
The area has witnessed intense clashes over the past two days between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces allied with the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement–North.
