TSC President Concludes Brief Talks in Manama

 

The President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, concluded a brief visit to Bahrain on Wednesday, during which he held talks with King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on developments in Sudan and regional and international efforts aimed at ending the war and restoring stability.

A Sudanese-Bahraini summit was held at Al-Sakhir Royal Palace in Manama, co-chaired by the TSC President and the King of Bahrain. The talks focused on long-standing bilateral relations and ways to enhance cooperation across various fields in a manner that serves mutual interests.

Al-Burhan expressed appreciation to the King for the warm reception, praising Bahrain’s pivotal support for Sudan and highlighting the strong historical ties between the two peoples.

He reaffirmed Sudan’s full support for Bahrain in facing regional challenges, condemning Iranian attacks against the Kingdom, and expressing Sudan’s readiness to provide all forms of support to Bahrain. He also reiterated Sudan’s commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation.

The discussions also covered regional developments amid rising tensions, alongside issues of mutual concern.

For his part, King Hamad welcomed the visit, describing it as a reflection of the depth of fraternal relations between the two countries, and commended Sudan’s supportive stance toward Bahrain’s security and stability.

He reaffirmed Bahrain’s commitment to expanding cooperation and opening new avenues for joint work, while expressing appreciation for Sudan’s support for Gulf stability and sovereignty.

Both sides agreed to continue consultation and coordination across all fields to achieve the aspirations of the two peoples.
