Prime Minister Heads to Vatican City on Official Visit
Prime Minister Professor Kamil Idris departed for Vatican City on an official visit to meet His Holiness the Pope.
He was seen off at Khartoum International Airport by the Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, Ali Mohamed Ali, alongside several senior state officials.
During the visit, the Prime Minister is expected to hold discussions focusing on issues of peace and social cohesion.
He is accompanied by Minister of Culture, Information, Tourism and Antiquities Khalid Al-Eisir, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Ambassador Muawiya Othman Khalid, and Deputy Director-General of the General Intelligence Service Lieutenant General Abbas Mohamed Bakhit.
